Which similar products have you used?

iPod touch 2G

Summary

iPhone is to me the most compleated phone on the market ever, because of all the available apps. Some companies has tried to copy or make a simular produkt, but most of them are failures, if you are looking for the best phone on the market, this is your phone!

How long have you used the product?

1-3 months

What are the strengths?: If you own a iPhone you have acces to everything you need in the whole world. You can check your mail, text-messages and such, you can also install a programm that will keep you updated where your iphone is located and such, in case you loose it.

What are the weaknesses?: there are though some weaknesses with the phone, like it its pretty easy to breake, and it sometimes ja. when an iPhone jam, its very hard to "unjam" it, and still keep the data that were used. Another bad thing about the iPhone is that there is no easy avalable battery, if you want to change the battery you change the battery, you have to find a reseller. If you ar unaccostumed to the apple operating system, and especially "iTunes", you can have a pretty tough time before you figure some things out, though, when you do get it, its the easiest thing in the world.

Summary

A very good American product - shame about the weaknesses. Apple needs to go back to the drawing board on the small details and listen to their customers.

How long have you used the product?

Less than 1 month

What are the strengths?: The Apple logo is always a mark of confidence in my book - I feel secure in the knowledge this will be a quality assured buy and not be running down to the repairman as I have in the past with French products. The vibration function is a wonderful addition if you hard of hearing. I do love the choice of ring tunes - my particular favorite being the "Marimba" which also can double as an alarm. Always puts me on the bright side when woken to it. The chrome metallic trim is quite eye-catching and resembles the bumper of a vintage Fleetwood , Top marks to Apple for including this great detail. I only realized 2 weeks after buying the telephone that it has a mini jukebox that played music - I look forward to download some of my favorites onto it and have it with me when gardening or such activities. I'm sure the sound will be loud enough to hear in crowded places or public municipals.

What are the weaknesses?: No wrist strap or loop for the telephone to hang around the neck. No cleaning cloth included - annoying as the front can get rather gooey from facial fat and food matter. The packaging is rather small and you don't feel you are getting your money's worth - come on Apple, when you've payed circa $500 for a telephone don't we deserve a little more thought put into a bigger box with a more descriptive print, a real let down in that department. The telephone could be a little smaller for my hands, it often feels boxy and cumbersome. The surface is quite slippy so watch out if you are washing up or doing some wet work whilst answering it. I've often dropped it on account of this fact. Only one color supplied on purchace. I had hoped to be able to own one in my favorite palette but it seems Apple did not go so far to think about this.

Positivt: Totalt sett en bedre brukeropplevelse enn noen annen telefon på markedet. Vesentlig raskere enn forgjengerne, mengder av programmer som gir bruksområder som går utenpå...

Negativt: Fremdeles er det mulig å ønske/tenke seg forbedringer, som kjøring av programmer i bakgrunnen, radio og foto/video i HD-kvalitet osv.
