-I hope your camera does not have the ability to record film either: The BD D8900 won't be able to play them among your pictures: You run either in VIDEO mode OR PICTURE mode. no MIX possible.

When asked about these issues, SAMSUNG support cannot commit to anything.
Add to that the many unexplained restarts/Bugs and you get the picture.
Samsung is selling hardware before they have finished the software and cannot commit to what the software will be...

The support?: Unless you have forgotten to plug the main power before testing the product, don't expectd anything from them.

I would definitively *not* recommend this product until a propoer software is delivered with it.

But the HW looks good, so maybe, one day...

Vad är positivt?

The hardware. Lan Wlan (which does not work with my netgear router, I assume the router is wrong), blu-ray... all nicely packed in one box.

Vad är negativt?

The software and the support.
If the hardware sounds good (1 terabyte HD, Lan, blu-ray (3D), wlan...), the software is a huge miss:
-At Samsung they haven't realised that the LAN can be something to send files over!! If you want to download (or upload) files to the BD D8900N/XE, you'll have to copy these files on a USB memory stick and WALK(!) along your cables to bring it to the blu-ray: no ftp, no file sharing (samba), no scp, no nfs...!
Thanks for the LAN/WLAN, but you cannot copy files over the network!

-Not only that: there is no possibility to create/copy/delete directories on the BD-D8900N/XE...You have one directory for your 1000 pictures, one for you 200 hours of TV recording, one for you 10000 music files! Any try to order anything in subdirectory fails...
Thanks for the big disk, but don't expects to find you files on it!
