| Beskrivelse | Look forward to a very special movie experience for all generations. The true story that became the most watched Danish film in 2006: The Dream. Summer '69. The tyrannical principal, Lindum Svendsen (Bent Mejding), manages the students at his provincial school with a tough hand. The farmer's son Frits's are particularly bad, and a confrontation with the principal means that Frits' ear is torn in half. Lindum Svendsen is immovable. But when the young Copenhagen teacher, Freddie Svale (Anders W. Berthelsen) is hired, the hard fight for justice begins. Niels Arden Oplev - the director behind Portland, Fukssvansen, Rejseholdet, Forsvar og Ørnen - has with his new film, DRØMMEN, created his most personal work to date. The film is told at eye level with its 13-year-old main character, Frits, played by the talented Janus Dissing Rathke, but its story is universal and will be an experience for everyone. It was at least for the jury that awarded the Dream the distinguished Crystal Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2006. | |
